I love this Guthries!!! I went late one night with my yellow truck and little chihuahua and the cashier noticed him and was soooooo nice to us! She was nice to everyone who came through the drive thru on the big Iron Bowl weekend!!! It was actually a Friday night! So it’s nice to have that southern hospitality greet you at the window. The cooks are very cool too! The cook with the locs was very nice to me and I will definitely return to this location due to the great attitude of everyone and the friendly atmosphere!

Wonderful location! I love that there is a walk up window outside. The outdoor seating could use some shade, but this is an otherwise perfect spot.

I found this Guthrie’s location to be superbly clean. Before placing my order, I visited the restroom and was SHOCKED to find the toilet paper folded and creased as if I were in a hotel. I then found their condiments neatly organized - plainly the employees care about their presentation. Food was excellent- served piping hot and crispy. My toast was buttery with just a hint of garlic, and the sweet tea is the best you can get anywhere. The employees were attentive, bustling around and checking on customers in between their tasks. Great experience!

They have a simple menu but the absolute best chicken fingers and sauce! This location in downtown Auburn is also unique as it tells the Guthrie's story and is just around the corner from the old original Guthrie's in Auburn!

Guthrie's IS the original chicken finger "go to" and my visit was as good as I remembered it in the 80s when I was a student and ate there often. Actually I like Zaxbys and in he Atlanta area eat there often BUT getting use to Zs our taste buds WOKE up to the difference in Auburn! Guthrie's was so much better for the fingers, sauce, fries, texas toast and slaw! Man I miss Guthries and Auburn... War Eagle G's!!!
